The Little Lantern: The Snake

　　The Snake is the theme for the 2025 Taiwan Lantern Festival “little lantern,” and a flexible toy snake is the core of the design. The lantern integrates symbols of Taoyuan City, this year’s e host city, with traditional artistic elements of the Lantern Festival. The result is a creative three-dimensional paper small lantern. The snake’s body is a 7-segment movable structure. Each segment can be bent up to 90-degrees. This allows for great creativity, including the ability to form thenumbers from zero to nine. The snake is the 6th sign of the 12-element Chinese zodiac. The Chinese name of the lantern means “snake,” but it also sounds like “take a walk.” We hope everyone can have fun with the lantern. We’ve also made it more environmentally friendly, including a pioneering reduction in battery size. Half of these “little lanterns” have a rechargeable TYPE-C connection.
 

Distribution Period: February 12 to February 23, starting daily at 3:00 PM

Distribution Method: Limited daily supply; each person is eligible to receive one mini lantern per day, while supplies last.
